About The Gallery
Treating Utility as High Art
Rover Biscuit Radar was established to elevate the discourse surrounding domestic objects. For too long, the furniture we inhabit daily has been relegated strictly to the realm of utilitarian commerce. We exist to reframe these objects as profound historical texts—artifacts that communicate the anxieties, optimisms, and technological revolutions of their times.
Whether examining the aerodynamic streamlining of an Art Deco vanity or the stark, uncompromising tubular steel of a Bauhaus armchair, our curation team treats each piece with the rigorous analytical attention usually reserved for classical sculpture or architecture.
Our Mission for Design Literacy
We believe that understanding the origin of forms enriches our relationship with the spaces we inhabit. By providing sophisticated, deeply researched educational resources, we aim to serve interior designers, architects, and furniture aficionados who wish to look beyond mere aesthetics and understand the philosophical lineage of form.
